Sculptures for gardens
For the exhibition "Sculptures en Liberté" and now to see in my galleries. The first bronze was produced for the "Sculptures en Liberté" exhibition organized jointly by the Val d'Oise Archaeological Museum and the Musée de l’Outil (the Tool Museum). The sculpture therefore spent the entire summer of 2020 on the lawns of the remarkable garden of the Musée...
To think outside the box, I tackled pizzlys, the fruit of an amorous encounter between Grizzly Bears and Polar Bears. “Coffee with milk...” bears. The song "Mélangez-vous" by Pierre Perret, which should be part of the school repertoire, is not far off the mark. Bears are not racist and they try to see further by perching on top of each other!
Three first editions were presented at the Down to Art gallery by Marc and Charlotte, who loved this "dog sandwich". These dogs, they are five of all breeds, watch and wonder a little, what are they doing there...The original clay was presented in 2020 in the remarkable gardesn of the Musée de l’outil and the first bronze at the Ghent Art Fair.
