A group of elephants—two adults and four young—advances across the savanna. The largest elephant raises its trunk to help the calf balance on its back. The matriarch encourages one of the lazy baby elephants. They are joyful, proud to be alive, moving forward in interaction with one another, as if in a procession. The group is heading toward a lasting future; its lineage is secure!
