Last winter, a friend's little girl told her school friends that an elephant was living in her garage. It would soon accompany her to school when the weather cooperated, as elephants are very sensitive to the cold.

I brought her story to life.

It's a piece full of movement, with the child holding her companion's trunk to take it for a walk.

Slate- gray patina with lighter backgrounds enhances the elephant-skin-like modeling.
